the staff were helpful. they guided me to my room, a classic twin room.
The concierge service was disappointing. i asked them to book a restaurant. they booked it for the wrong time and expected a tip. also, there was no wine opener in the room. I requested it but it never arrived. towels were also missing after i specifically asked for them. It was a real bother.

I appreciated the robe and slippers provided in the room. there was adequate space to hang clothes, very useful. i liked waking up to views near the hotel. The canals are very nice. i was welcomed with waffles upon arrival, that was a nice touch.
The room lacked drawers in the bedside tables and desk. This was less practical than i expected.

I loved the central location! it made exploring so easy. the in-room bar cart was a good surprise. the staff was friendly. They offered excellent service.
the lighting in the suite felt a little dim. it could be brighter, especially at night, really. i'd love better lighting next time.
